In today’s Daily Mail there is an article headlined
We haven’t got the cash to take any more strays says RSPCA
You can read the article on http://www.dailymail.co.uk/ news/article-1267577/RSPCA- says-We-havent-got-cash- strays.html
basically it says that they will no longer take in unwanted or stray animals, concentrating instead on those seized from owners.
This is the RSPCA becoming a branch of the police, because they wear a uniform it has made them forget what the name RSPCA really means. They should care for all animals in need, not just ones that give them a higher profile.
Apparently they have reserves of £150 million, so they’re not exactly destitute.
