My heart goes out to Liz Hiorns who lost her beloved Jack Russell Penny which has been caught up in a mass of political correctness and redtape.  Widow Liz lost Penny her 11 yr old dog and spent days trying to locate her thru police, vets and dog wardens.  She evenyually found out that her dog had been passed to Danmere rescue centre by a warden.  The centre then sold the dog on to new owners.  They have refused to put Liz Hiorns in touch with the new owners because of data protection which means that this poor widow has lost her closest friend - surely this is wrong?
